WHERE TO START
SGS Lakeland offer a free site survey from our experienced engineer.
However, if this is inconvenient for you we can usually quote from photographs. During our engineer’s visual inspection of the existing fireplace, flue and chimney stack (if present). They will discuss your requirements, advising you what is feasible and then offering you the most cost-effective option. All surveys are followed up with a quotation in writing. You will be advised on the heat kilowatt output required for your stove, based on the size of your room. Your choice of stove is also determined by fireplace opening fit (if relevant), your preferably design and your projects’ budget.
